WIN a place on a residential writing course, worth £575!
Young Writer has teamed up with the Arvon Foundation to offer one reader (aged between 16 and 18 years old) the chance to attend an exclusive residential writing course.
Arvon’s courses are run by some of the country’s top authors and poets, and can really inspire your creativity and imagination. ‘Arvon courses rock,’ says author Julia Bell, who will be judging the entries with fellow Arvon tutor James Friel. ‘They’re an opportunity to get away from the everyday and focus on your writing in a really beautiful place.’
For a chance of winning this fantastic prize, we would like you to write a story, poem or descriptive piece of writing with the theme of ‘place’.
